By taking Basic/Intermediate sailing lessons with Lighthall Charters, we prepare you to confidently take out a boat of comparable size without a Captain on board. At the end of the course, you should be comfortable, confident and qualified.

Whether you want to learn just enough to be a helpful hand, or be your own Captain, Lighthall Yacht Charters will help you reach your goal with our unique teaching method. We make learning fun and easy.

All women's or coed classes.
Basic/Intermediate sailing lessons are taught on a 34' boat for 12 hours (6 hours on Sat., 6 hours on Sun.) for up to 4 people in each class. $250.00 per person and includes a book and video.
Private Instruction is available. ($75.00/hour) 7 days a week.
Keep on Sailing Program
Join our Free Yacht Club membership. Sail with us on our weekly mixer cruises. To join, e-mail us with your your e-mail address and you will receive a weekly mixer schedule and newsletter.
Review Class & Sailing Clinic We go over specific topics that people want to practice such as docking, anchoring, reefing and more. Offered weekly. $45.00 for 3 hours of instruction.
How do you get started? E-mail us & order the Book/Video. After you have completed sailing lessons, we offer an affordable way for you to Keep On Sailing. We offer "Mixer" cruises at a discount and can help place you on a bareboat as a crew member. Bring a friend and share the boat with other students and keep your skills sharp! These cruises are offered weekly.

Bare Boating

To use our boats, you must demonstrate the ability of operating the boat completely and competently, and or have a sailing resume.
